A comment on U.A. Veteran's Affairs Secretary Faces Wrongful Death Suit by Family of Iraq War Veteran

I wish the Lacey family all the best in their fight with the VA, this is terrible that they even should have to do this, and I hope it will wake the VA up with how they treat our Veterans and returning Soldiers.

This is not something new with the VA healthcare, it has been going on for years, VA does not want to deal with certain things so they turn our Veterans away, or make up their own laws as to how they are going to deal with things.

I know, my husband, A Vietnam Era Veteran died as a result of ''inappropriate care with lack of follow up''. And VA admitting to not believing he was really sick. 4 days prior to his death, after going to the VA for 2 yrs, we found out from an outside hospital that he was a total mass of cancer.....but, this was buried under the rug soon after it happened, and then things happened like what happened at Walter Reed.

It continues to happen, but just gets brushed under the rug. I hope this family succeeds in waking this administration up in the care of our Veterans, and their son is an example of how our Veterans are treated. God Bless them in their fight.
