Mark C. Joye, Esquire, the managing partner for Joye Law Firm, L.L.P. and head of its litigation section, is a South Carolina native. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985, and his law degree from the University of South Carolina in 1989.
Mr. Joye is a veteran trial lawyer who has successfully represented hundreds of clients who have been injured or killed as a result of from defective products, automobile accidents, and tractor-trailer collisions in courtrooms across the state and across the country.
Mr. Joye has received the highest rating for an attorney by a nationally known attorney rating service. He has also been the recipient of other honors including being elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates and has been since 1988, listed in "Who's Who in American Law." He is also active with local and national attorney associations. Mr. Joye currently serves as the secretary of the South Carolina Trial Lawyer's Association and is the president-elect of American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Joye is also active in the local community and in particular, with the Eagle Scouts of America.
While Mr. Joye's caseloads a variety of different types of cases, Mr. Joye is nationally known for his representation against large automobile manufacturers for defective motor vehicles and frequently speaks to attorneys both locally and nationally on topics related to trial practice and procedure, and automobile defects.
