NASCAR Racer Honors 9 Firefighters Killed In The Line of Duty in Fire in Charleston, SC

Joe Nemecheck of NASCAR fame, has honored the lives of the nine (9) firefighters whose lives were tragically lost in a warehouse fire in Charleston, South Carolina that occurred on June 18, 2007. Mr. Nemecheck's car for the Pepsi 400 Nextel Race in Daytona, South Carolina that was held on July 7, 2007, displayed a scene on his racing car which included the names and ages of the deceased firefighters along with the Charleston Fire Department's logo on either side of his racing vehicle.

NASCAR team owner, Bobby Ginn, a South Carolina native, is donating $20,000 to assist the families of the fallen firefighters.
